Role Definition: The NOC Engineer monitors and executes the daily operational activities needed to manage IT services and the supporting IT infrastructure.A NOC Engineer monitors large computer networks and servers for problems from a central location or remotely.

Monitoring through NPM/Solarwinds/MRTG , Escalation of fiber/Service-provider outages to concerned vendors, Report(SLA, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly) on Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Follow up of issues until resolution. Capable of working under pressure. ISP background. Understanding of routing protocols BGP, ISIS, OSPF, static, MPLS.
