Designed Testing Units used for Checking Speedometers and Microcontroller Based Projects
Project Lead in shifting Seat Frame and Track Lines from TBPK Korangi plant to TBPK Port Qasim plant.
The project comprised of two phases; the First phase was commissioning of Fin Forming, Back Pressure Testing and Core Assembly Machine for which collaborated with engineers from DNTH - DENSO Thailand. The second phase was a modification of Nocolok Brazing Furnace which included planning and coordinating with local vendors along with the integration of new Debinder Oven for which collaborated with engineers from DNJP - DENSO Japan.
Collaborated with Chinese Engineers to Install and Commission Tank Crimping, Tube Bender, Fin Forming and Core Assembly Machine.
Collaborated with Engineers from DNTH to incorporate Image Processing in Crimping Machine for analyzing the tank type of radiators to be crimped.
Implemented Delta PLC and HMI in Condenser Core Machine making the complete assembling process of side cores and plates of the condenser automatic. The machine was designed for assembling of condenser units.
Designed a test bench for complete checking of speedometers divulging them to real-time conditions. It performed diversified tests on the speedometer for its quality inspection like vibration test, hot and cold chamber test, rain test, speed test, and light test. The control system of the bench was PLC based integrating SIEMENS S7-300 with HMI built on WinCC Flexible based touch screen.
Developed a quality checking system for potentiometers which were used in CNG kits for LANDIRENZO. Pressure was applied to the potentiometer and the slider readings noted, the procedure was then repeated under diverse temperatures regularized by the OEM. It was a microcontroller based system with its HMI designed in LABVIEW.
Built a complete test system for LCS panel (panel under the steering of a car from which you control headlights, viper, panel lights, and indicator lights). It performed complete wire harness test and other quality tests on the LCS panel. The system was designed on SIEMENS S7 300 and HMI on WinCC Flexible.
The project was assigned by SIEMENS, Pakistan. The objective was to automate a Distillation Plant and implement SCADA on it. The project involved analog and digital parameters which were being monitored as well as being controlled, like Pressure, Temperature, and Level. The PLC used was S7-300 and HMI of the system was designed on WinCC Flexible.
