Roles & Responsibilities: Coordination, M&E and Management 1. Responsible to develop and implement the strategy regarding Non-food Items, Shelter, IDP Camps, Hygiene Promotions, WASH and DRR projects in collaboration with the program manager and technical teams. 2. Management of program and support staff, program support activities, administration, and security of the base 3. Based on the review of existing data on the area, draw up the TOR for, design and cost out a baseline survey and a needs assessment survey.
Monitoring and Evaluation4. Monitoring and Evaluation of NRC Program at both FATA and Provincial levels. Prepare reports on M&E findings. 5. Help revise the project log frame matrix, particularly in the areas of the objective hierarchy, indicators, and monitoring mechanisms.6. Make regular reports to the program management highlighting areas of concern and preparing the documentation for review at meetings.
- Actively participate in the preparation of assessment tools, reporting formats and monitoring tools
8. Review monitoring reports; analyze them for impact evaluation and to identify the causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation.9. Plan for regular opportunities to identify lessons learned and implications for the project’s next steps. Participate in these events when possible.10. Based on the program budgets, design the framework for the physical and process monitoring of project activities. Representation 11. Represent the organization at the regional level including general meetings with donors, humanitarian actors, local authorities, protocol meetings, security meetings, as well as sector program meetings when requested by the country management.12. Manage the visit of donors’ representatives / HQ visitors / other stakeholders whenever requested.
- Identify and assess humanitarian assistance requirements of affected populations including target groups, their locations and existing relief programs and make recommendations for the types of humanitarians protection interventions that may be necessary
Logistics 14. Responsible of overseeing the logistics on the district level ensuring the proper set up / rehabilitation / running of office premises, the functioning of supply chain including procurement planning, purchasing of goods and services, their transport and storage, the organization, planning, and maintenance of the fleet and equipment, and the functioning of the means of communication appropriate for the respective region. Administration / Human Resources 15. Responsible for overseeing the management of finances and administration at base level. Ensuring the proper management of finances on the offices including planning, authorization of expenses, and reporting. Also ensures the management of Human Resources in accordance with the NRC guidelines and the legal requirements.
- Contribute to capacity building of the program staff for timely delivery of emergency assistance to the target beneficiaries.
- Participate to Emergency Response Team (ERT) Senior Management Team meeting
- Adhere strictly to NRC code of conduct, national staff guide lines and policies
