They are uncertain and cautions that the IFRS will significantly improve financial reporting standards in Pakistan as the external and internal environment of Pakistan is very different comparatively to others countries. Such as High Fluctuation in Rupee value, Prices of Fuel, Unpredictable stock market, Unstable law and order situation etc. To study the significance of the IFRS on financial reporting in banking sector, we are using earning per share and book value to analyze that the impact after adopting financial reporting is significant or not.
