Responsible for the following aspects of the supply chain: sourcing, purchasing, transport, warehousing and distribution. Also involved in identifying and implementing initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost base.
Ensures that all shipments are received in good, undamaged condition.
Compares identifying information and counts items of incoming shipments to
verify information against bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, orders, or other
records and initials completed paperwork
Confirms that orders contain the correct items/supplies numbers and
quantity of items/supplies to match the transfer documentation.
Assumes responsibility for taking periodic inventories of materials and supplies.
Managing the Receiving Yard and Stacking of Goods in Warehouse on proper
locations following FIFO system to avoid undue expiries.
Well preparations for internal / external audits i.e HACCP, BC, LP and CSA.
Rejects and takes appropriate action for any inconsistency between purchase
orders and shipments received.
Maintaining and servicing warehouse tool and machinery.
Maintain Home Deliveries Provision Record, Coordinate with Section Managers and
Clear Pending Invoices (Business Cycle).
Human Management: Maintain Employee’s Leave Record, Attendance, Weekly
Employee Schedule/Hygiene, and Meeting Agenda, attend departmental meetings,
prepare minutes of Meeting, daily/Monthly Briefings.
Currently enroll in M.Phil Supply Chain Management from Oct-2015.
