Installation of metered equipement against illegal connection so that proper supply to be provide to consumer with recording of actual consumption.
The major purpose of this study is to analyse consumer behaviour towards smartphone in Pakistan by looking intothe factors which affect the decision making process for purchasing smartphones in Pakistan. The result in this study shows that branding, product design, product performance and price have the influence on people’s buying decision process, which concurs with the literature provided in this research. In the case of smartphone, the product performance, including integration of hardware and software, file transfer and display, and camera performance, is considered as the influence that defines whether one’s major needs could be satisfied; as what literature implies that brand name has the effect on certain level to the cognition of product quality, in this study, brand image of a smartphone vendor affects people’s purchase decision.
In today’s era a smartphone has become more of a need rather than a want because of the wide variety of features that they offer. All the maximum respondents mentioned Smartphone as their need. The majority of the respondents agreed on the fact that smaprtphones fulfill a wide variety of purposes which has made communication much simpler and easier as a wide variety of information in available on the fingertips. In terms of factors affecting decision making for smart phones, respondents gave varied responses in terms of the various factors which influence their decision making behavior.
We have done considerable work on LV/MV substation. We have given adequate procedures which take place in installation of a MV/LV substation. What are the basis on which we opt. to have a supply from the utility at MV, instead of LV. Considerations in the construction of a substation .We have taken out total load connected on which we have applied 80% demand factor to all connected load. We have carried out calculations on basis of which we select the rating of a transformer to be installed in the substation. We have done calculation for power factor improvement. The utility supply which supplies Electrical power in Karachi is KESC, according to the clause given on power factor by KESC, Power factor must be improved to 0.9 lagging to avoid penalty. We have taken out calculations for capacitor rating required to improve power factor in all four substation to 0.95.Thus by doing this we will be utilizing the substation to its maximum capacity. We have done bus bar calculations. We have done basic designing of the LT panels using Auto Cad Software. We have taken out per phase currents and have also done calculation for the sizing of the circuit breakers to be used in the LT panels. We have also done 3D modeling of the substation. We calculations also provide room for extension if it is required in future.
To meet the power requirements, four new substations are being installed at NED University of Engineering & Technology. Each Installation is of 500KVA.
We will focus our work on designing of LT panels, Load distribution calculations, Improvement of Power factor & study of factors involved in installation of a substation.
In distribution substation electric power is stepped down to supply to various distribution networks. When power leaves a distribution substation voltage is in proportionate to the requirements of the network it supports.
Now there will be more then one feeding points, which has advantage over a single feeder.
