Having undergone 4 different certified trainings in the past 2 to 3 years and conducted training and workshop sessions myself.. Currently enrolled in the final year of my bachelors in Mechatronics. I have been continuously involved in different projects and carrying experience in the field of Electrical/Electronics, Automobile and Automation.
• Assisted workshop supervisor in managing 50+ customer complaints to date.
• Validated client concerns through accurate problem diagnosis and viable solutions for their car issues.
• Visited several child center including Dewa Academy, Ida Rieu College for Blind and Deaf, ABSA School, JS Academy for deaf and PNAD School for special children to design curriculum for 100+ students.
• Conducted interactive trainings for special students to enhance knowledge in Math, Science and electrical trade.
• Trained the Electrical and Electronics Trade Students for the industrial environment.
• Imparted basic knowledge of basic electrical circuit units and the designing of these circuits.
• Successfully organized annual projects to provide hands-on experience and exposure for 100+ students.
• Undertook rigorous training in industrial Fault finding and Troubleshooting.
• Performed corrective as well as preventive maintenance.
• Worked on Master and Slave Unit of Inverter and Rectifier of a 2.2MW Siemens Simovert AC drive.
• Automated using several different PLCs (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron etc.).
• Undertook diagnosis and maintenance in relay based machines (Safety Controls, Analogue controls, Relay banks, Contactors, Bus bars, CT, PT and switch gears.
• Handled efficient functioning for A.C & D.C VFD and Servo drives (ABB, Reliance, Mentor, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley)
• Maintained and learned about Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
• Studied TCUs (temperature control units) in actual working conditions.
Projects
Project nameSmart Robotic Arm Simulator
Sep 2019 – Present
Project description
Making a Smart Robotic Arm for my final year project
The arm will be driven by an Arduino mega 2560 microcontroller
It will detect the size and color of the object and sort the object according to the given instruction for the specified object.
The arm will also be consisting of a real time simulation on the computer to determine the state of the arm
Made a conveyer belt system for the sorting of required packages.
Sorted white and black box to their respectice station using motor, sensors, valves, cylinders and different actuators and controlling and integrating with a P.L.C.
Contructed an automated system for any parking spot or parking plaza.
Used infrared sensors for the detection of the car at the parking spots.
And shifted these signals to a controller which determines whether the parking is full or not.
The controller conveys an output signal to the barrier or the indication that the parking is full.
Constructed a line following robot on an acrylic car assmbley
Used two infrared sensor modules to detect the line or path which gave the output signal to a L293D Quadruple Half-H Motor driver I.C.
Used this Motor driver to drive two I.Cs and determine the position of the robot
Made a Simulator for the Siemens S7-1200 P.L.C for different fault diagnosis and learning or training purpose..
Addressed Analog and Digital I/Os , and programmed it with TIA portal for different applications
Succesfullly programmed and interfaced the IMS Industrial Mechatronics System by Lucas Nuelle which consisted of 4 modules (Sorting, Assembly, Testing and Handling sub-stations).
Experienced the use of Flip Flops, Timers, Counters, Comparators and many other functions as wel.
Learned a lot about LDL and FBD programming and its ups and downs on the way, limitations of relay logic and hard wiring.
