Performed duties of Electrical Officer in the shore based establishment (AHSAN at ORMARA) for one year and Deputy Electrical Officer onboard PNS BADAR ( US Frigate) for a year.
As a System Engineer/project officer, I was responsible for the efficient operation, repair, maintenance, configuration , installation and commissioning of following Pakistan Navy Telecommunication Systems :-
a. UHF Trunking System
b. Satellite communication System
c. Optical Fiber Transmission System PDH-140, SDH-155 and SDH-622MB.
d. Microwave, Drop Insert and Packet Switch.
e. Switches (ALCATEL 4100S and 4300L)
f. Batteries, Rectifiers, AVRs and associated equipment.

As a Deputy Manager PCB Repair Facility PN Dockyard, I was responsible for the repair and maintenance of all sorts of Printed Circuit Boards being used in Pakistan Navy. Administrative duties were additional to above.
On promotion to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer, I was responsible to the Electronics Officer for repair and maintenance of all types of Radars, communication and electronic equipment fitted onboard, as well as administrative duties of electronics department.
Performed the duties of Chief In-Charge of Base Electronics Workshop of Qatar Amiri Navy, while on deputation and was responsible for repairs, maintenance and operation of all types of electronic equipment including installation /commissioning of Radar and communication equipment onboard ships as well as in shore units
