Search giant Google now supports Urdu to be used for voice-to-text-dictation.

Urdu is included in the group of 30 languages recently added by Google for its voice recognition engine.

The voice recognition support for Urdu and 30 other languages can be used via Gboard for Android. The search commands now can be recognized and executed simply by speaking to Google search. Gboard can be used to dictate text messages as well, which means no more typing hassel for your text messages.

How do you use it?

Open the "Gboard" app, tap and hold the space bar and select "Google Voice Typing".

Move to "Settings" and then "Languages".

Uncheck English and make Urdu your primary mode of input. This can be changed later, if desired.

All done, you are ready to dictate your first command.
