Men invented wheel, printing press, electricity and computers. Men invented artificial intelligence to bring end to all inventions. Now it is up to our last invention to invent everything for us. We are so smart that we have now outsourced invention job too. Throughout history we have never debated any invention like today we are debating artificial invention. It is because it may destroy or control us and influence us like no other invention. Today we are already cant live without our mobile phones which is the present stage of artificial invention . Most of the people are amazed with artificial invention and others are afraid of its repercussions that it may destroy humanity and views of smart people of our generation like Hawkins and Alon Musk has already warned us against it, they believed that humanity must take extra caution with artificial intelligence.
Many believed that “Artificial Intelligence” will be the mankind’s last invention. Because we no more have to invent anything because now the artificial invention takes the full responsibility of invention and it may even reinvent previous human inventions by rectifying its human flaws. Singularity is the stage when artificial intelligence will attain human level intelligence and then comes the stage of rise of the machine, like skynet in terminator III movie. It will be self aware and by beings self aware it will not listen to us and shall do what it finds best for us. Our destiny will be in the hands of our last creation.
How can we do this to ourselves. This will be like giving up everything that we so much dear to us. Machine shall not abide by human values. We are the creator of artificial intelligence but our creation has all the ability to destroy and it will annihilate us once for all.
I believe that the future will be most uncertain and most unpredictable with complete reliance on machine for our future successes. There are people who believe that it will progress with lightening speed, but they are not aware of its progressive trend. I argue that we will be destroyed by our last invention because its inventor has not yet find ways to live in peace among themselves. How can that imperfect inventory hope to invent a perfect intelligence to serve its purpose. The sad truth is that artificial intelligence will be more destructive than all the previous destructions combine. I believe we must not give artificial intelligence the power to decide our destiny.
It will be better for us to restrict artificial intelligence less than human intelligence by not going for singularity. That is how we can safeguard our own existence. It is best for our survival and well being of our future generations. Mishandling artificial invention will cost us our ultimate demise.
