Life is a continuous learning process and this continues even after one has completed his or her formal education. That is why I decided to choose teaching as a profession as soon as I stepped into the practical phase of my career. My passion to share the knowledge that I had gained and pass it on to the next generation, and at the same time, having the opportunity to learn so much more from them, was the real inspiration behind my decision to choose education as a career.
How exciting it is to see that spark in your student’s eye when he or she finally understands something that you have been trying to explain so laboriously. To make your student realise that anybody can succeed in life if one employs his or her capabilities positively is an end in itself. When you are in this noble profession, you have numerous opportunities at your disposal to change lives forever, and I feel exalted when I find myself in such a position.
In short, I am convinced that I have chosen a great profession. I feel that my life is not only highly satisfactory and productive but also provides me with incredible opportunities to learn more and then share that additional knowledge with others.
