Why Not Mature?

Why Not Mature?

Why not mature has been a question that has bothered many young teenagers. Young boys and girls between the age of 19 to 25 are in the grooming stage. But they find themselves lacking compare to others in some way like the way of speaking, activeness, sociability, brave enough to put forward his/her opinion or ideas, and so on. Why these boys and girls lack behind? How are the parents responsible for this?

There is a saying "You won't understand it until you experience it". I am 26 years old and since my teenage life, I have been trying to cope with the taunts of not being mature. I am deceived easily, I do not have the courage to speak abruptly over the person's face. I want to blame myself every time for not having the kind of intelligence that other fellow teenagers have.

I believe parents have played there part in it. I am born in an army officer family. My father is a retired Army officer. We have been restricted to not meet with friends if it's not important. When I was 19 I saw my fellow teenage friends and not friends have been very smart and active and I knew very little knowledge compare to them. What i realized that there parents ave them a free hand in many cases which helped them gain exposure. The more you interact with the outer world the more you get mature. That's the truth.
