TeleTaleem (Pvt.) Limited was incorporated in early 2010, with its head office in Islamabad and regional support offices in Lahore, Karachi & Multan. TeleTaleem is backed up by a technology driven business group, Comcept, with exposure in ICT products, services design and delivery. Comcept's current business focus is building socio-efficient services in Education and Healthcare sectors. Comcept was incorporated in 1992 and over the years has been involved in various technology related ventures - It set up WorldCall, a telecom services provider, which was eventually sold to OmanTel; it also started Burraq Telecom (later Wi-Tribe) - one of Pakistan's largest long distance international (LDI), wireless local loop (WLL) and Wi-Max operator - later acquired by Qatar Telecom. Comcept recently deployed the TeleSehat platform at Shifa - Pakistan's leading hospital - to deliver healthcare services in Northern Pakistan through remote tele-clinics. Per latest financials dated 30 June 2010, it had assets of $5.7 million, sales turnover of $2.9 million, gross margin of 10%, and cash equivalents of $0.53m. Over the past 3 years its revenues have experienced a CAGR of 21%. The group employs a workforce of over 220 individuals.
