Job Description
As part of a cross-functional team you will be responsible for the development and design of fun and highly scalable Mobile games and applications. Grab the chance to develop games and applications, which will reach millions of users all around the world.
Primary Responsibilities
• Build high-quality, intuitive user interfaces for our games/applications.
• Improve usability of existing games/applications.
• Quickly build prototypes from concepts and then incorporate (user) feedback.
• Work closely with Software Engineers and Operations to build games and applications
• Participate in design and code reviews.
Job Specification
Required skills and experience
• Must have minimum of 2-3 years working experience in the software industry
• Must have minimum 1 years of experience of cocos2d-x for android and iPhone.
• Cocos2d and Cocos2d-x developer with a proven track record of games development.
• Experience working with Java/Objective-C and C++.
• Good understanding of OOP, Algorithms, Design patterns, code optimisation.
• Good knowledge of communication with backend services.
• Experience working with version control system, ideally using Git.
• Distinctive passion for high-quality and intuitive user interfaces.
• Good knowledge of agile development principles and automated testing tools.
• Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable and tested code.
• Must have deep knowledge of and experience with the following mobile software development platform (Eclipse IDE,NDK and Java for Android, hand on experience in cocos2d-x as game engine for iOS/android)
• Must have strong knowledge of mobile hardware platforms, limitations, and specifications on iOS/Android devices
• Must be able to handle different screen resolutions for android devices using cocos2d-x engine
• Experience with web services is plus
• Must have worked on at least 2 commercially released applications available either on the Apple Appstore or Google's Android market (live links are must)
• Strong communication skills are imperative.
• Must be dedicated and committed to delivering on project deadlines within a given timeframe. Must have a do-what-it-takes attitude!
• Must be sharp and quick-witted with a puzzle solver personality.
