Job Description
We have an immediate need for Business Development Executive that will identify and generate new business for our company for Mobile Application projects, Mobile Social game design & development and other similar projects for smartphone and tablets. This role reports directly to the CEO, and the selected candidate will play a key role in developing new business. We offer attractive basic salary, benefits & commission on sales based on monthly assigned sales targets.
Our specific responsibilities will include:
· Identify & generate new business opportunities/projects for Mobile Apps & Games
· Building a book of business from scratch
· Assessing and understanding client needs as communicated verbally or through RFPs/RFIs, and crafting appropriate solutions
· Preparing technical proposals including detailed SOWs
· Preparing and professionally delivering formal and informal presentations to key prospects
· Negotiating and closing all phases of new project engagements, including review and preparation of NDAs and projects development agreements /sales contracts
Requirements
· Experience building a book of business from scratch
· Experience with complex service or solution sales involving multiple stakeholders
· Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
· 2-5 years’ experience selling software, mobile applications or technology solutions, with a quantifiable record of success
· Ability to consistently achieve or exceed set sales goals
· Familiarity with technical concepts and processes related to software development (Apps & Games)
· Exceptional telephonic, written and interpersonal skills
· Energetic, upbeat, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Obsessively organized and capable of handling several projects simultaneously
· Resourceful and curious individual with a sharp intellect and the ability to pick things up quickly
· MUST own an iPhone (and have owned it at least a year)
Job Specification
• More than 2 years of business development experience within a top tier mobile gaming or mobile application & web application company
• Successful track record in negotiating and closing mobile projects deals or partnerships, and an advanced understanding of the associated business models
• Robust knowledge of financial modelling, forecasting, and due diligence processes
• Strategic thinker with experience presenting solutions to executive-level audiences/clients
• Ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with external key clients across multiple organizational functions
• Direct experience developing business drivers behind mobile social gaming and applications
• Ability to articulate product value propositions to game/app developers
• Outstanding collaboration, relationship-building, and networking skills
• BA or equivalent education, MBA highly desired.
• Previous experience working in a local, global or multi-national mobile App or game development business environment
• A can-do, self-directing attitude with a demonstrated passion for our industry.
• Up-to-date Ideas and knowledge of best practices in web standards, design, and technologies including all forms of mobile applications
Bonus Points:
· Prior software development knowledge (any platform or language)
· Demonstrable work experience within the mobile apps and games market.
· Previous experience working in an entrepreneurial small company environment
· Own and have experience with iPad
· Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, and Apple Pages & Keynote
