The Lead iOS and/or Android Developer will: ·
Deliver across the entire app life cycle concept, and design, build, deploy, test, and release the product to app stores and support.
Work along the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps.
Work with front-end developers to build interfaces, focusing on usability features.
Create compelling device-specific user interfaces for a high-level user experience.
Standardize the platform, and in some cases, apps too, for catering to multiple brands while reducing duplication effort.
Optimize performance for the apps.
Remain up-to-date regarding the latest industry trends in mobile technology.
Deliver on person specification.
Establish a proven commercial software development experience.
Publish examples of mobile applications on the App Store or the Android market.
Display excellent knowledge of information architecture, human computer interaction and usability design principles.
Track records of delivering successful consumer and/or business products.
Display ability to use analytical data and user testing to inform design decision.
Demonstrate passion for new consumer technology and the emerging media landscape.
Show good time management skills and an ability to multi task

The Lead iOS and/or Android Developer will demonstrate:
Strong OOP designing and programming skills in Objective
Strong knowledge of iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc)
Strong knowledge of xcode
Command over Cocoa Touch (UIKit, Foundation, Multi-Touch Gestures)
Command over Network Services (Store Kit, Push Notifications, Game Kit, iAd, Newsstand, Core Location, Map Kit, Networking, Accelerate)
Command over Media (Graphics, Audio, Built-in Cameras and Photo Library, Media Library)
Command over Core Services (iOS Simulator, Inter-app Messaging, Messaging, In-App SMS, (Cut, Copy, and Paste), Gyro + Accelerometer, Multitasking, Address Book, Compass, Electronic Accessories, Quick Look, )
Strong OOP design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME)
Strong knowledge of Android SDK
Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system
Command over Eclipse
Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST,JSON, XML)
Experience of development using web technologies
Strong knowledge of OOP programming and design patterns
The ability to work on their own and as a part of the team
Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and PHP
Experience building web and native apps
Experience using social media APIs
Ad. integration using a 3rd party ad server (DART)
Command over version control (e.g. SVN)
Excellent debugging and optimisation skills
Demonstrate excellent testing/ QA skills
Show excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with various departments locally and internationally
2+ years of overall iOS & Android development.
Strong Objective-C skills and inside-and-out knowledge of the iOS SDK.
Strong Java skills with extensive knowledge of the Android SDK
Knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g. Zend)
Command over PHP template engines (e.g. Smarty)
Knowledge of working with a content management system
Knowledge of working in a media/publishing environment
Good presentation skills
