Abacus Multimedia is a friendly and expanding software house developing websites, apps, and entertainment products for an international market.

Responsibilities

• Continuously research, evaluate new technologies and features to determine which ones are suitable for our app.

• Ensure our app maximizes development efficiency.

• PostgreSQL.

• Handle and solve complex technical problems related to mobile app development.

• Provide solutions to co-workers.

• Perform full QA testing.

• Debugging - identify and fix all bugs.

• Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.

• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of our apps.

• Ensure we maintain the highest code quality, organization, and automatization.

• Work with multifunctional team members to define, design, and introduce new app features.

• Work with outside data sources and APIs.

We are located in Mid City Mall, Rawalpindi, near Rahman Abad Metro station. Our office hours are 9:00 - 18:00 Mon-Fri and every second Saturday.

Skills you must have:

• Expertise in designing workflow and architecting mobile applications.

• Should have worked on both phone and tablet applications.

• Excellent knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Firebase.

• Understand all the current systems by their code and other hidden features.

• Be able to write cutting edge applications from complex UIs to difficult middleware and backend components.

• Be able to quickly understand any domain-specific artifact.

• Anticipate unexpected problems and solve them before they happen.

• You must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Must have a perfectionist’s eye for details and spot small problems.

• Be good at Research and Development of technical problems.

• Stay updated with new tools, features, and technologies.

• Ability to consistently produce high-quality work and meet deadlines to complete assignments on time.

• Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and prioritize.

• Applicants must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-device compatibility, general mobile development standards.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written (English) communication skills.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented programming.

• Critical thinker and a problem-solver team player.
