We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites for our clients. Your expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development, as well as your ability to customize and optimize WordPress sites, will be crucial in delivering exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins that align with project specifications and best practices.
Customize and modify existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of WordPress websites.
Optimize website performance by implementing efficient code and caching techniques.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and integrity of developed websites.
Collaborate with the design team to integrate front-end designs into WordPress themes.
Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends, plugins, and technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during website development or maintenance.
Assist in website migration, deployment, and server configuration as needed.
Provide support and guidance to clients regarding WordPress-related inquiries or technical issues.
SEO and social media marketing for wordpress projects.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites you have developed or contributed to.
Extensive knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development, including custom theme development from scratch.
Proficiency in front-end web development languages (HTML, CSS, jQuery) and responsive web design principles.
Solid understanding of PHP programming and MySQL database management.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of other CMS platforms (such as Drupal or Joomla) is a plus.
