Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, and journal entries, bookkeeping.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards and ensure compliance.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
• Proficiency in using Xero and QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations is advantageous.
