We are looking for a Journalist who will be posting news on our group of blogs, And Write various types of articles on a wide range of topics for our blogs including but not limited to online advertising, Online Marketing, Computers and Laptops, Humor. Writing various types of articles on a wide range of topics for our blog. Hence you should be able to perform deep research on various topics. The candidate should have fair knowledge about social media and internet.
Responsibilities include:- Aggressively mining, developing and writing news and feature stories
- Writing a variety of content, including traditional press releases, pitch support documents for market PR teams, fact sheets, web content and other supporting assets
- Developing other written materials, including key messages, Q & A documents and speeches
- Copy editing
Because our audiences are varied, including business and online press, bloggers, analysts and consumers, the ability to understand and translate technical and product information into consumer benefits is critical. Experience in or knowledge of the internet advertising sector, either directly or as a journalist, is an advantage. Although this is an internal news operation, great newsgathering, reporting and writing skills are at its heart, and we’re looking for a writer who can deliver this for us.
Qualifications: - Strong journalistic newsgathering competency, reporting skills and writing ability
- Proficiency in AP Style
- The ability to work quickly and independently to deliver high-quality copy requiring a minimum of content or copy editing
- Experience working in a fast-paced, news-gathering environment
- Experience working in a multi-faceted team (e.g. print, video, web, etc.)
- A bachelor’s degree in journalism, English or public relations/communications
- Two or more years of writing experience either for an agency, corporation or news organization. Automotive industry writing experience preferred but not required.
