How you can expect to spend your day:
Primarily the role will involve for assisting in managing all social media channels, learning how to drive key social media campaigns and deliver measurable results. In addition to overseeing social media, the successful candidate will learn how to develop relevant, on-brand posts which reflect the brand's personality and encourages active engagement from followers across all social media channels, as well as write and sub-edit articles for the brand's blog. Over time, the role will also include exposure to various other marketing channels including PPC/SEO/affiliates.
An average day will include the following:
* Experience managing the social media campaigns across social platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
* Learning about the day-to-day activity across social media platforms, including posting and sharing content, as well as engaging with fans and followers.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with key online influencers in the industry.
* How to build and nurture online audiences.
* Optimizing the social media platforms.
* Providing regular performance analysis and using this to drive the social offerings forward.
* Staying up-to-date with industry developments.
The ideal intern's personality and qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have an interest in marketing along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. A passion for social media is a plus
