Job Description
As an Intern WordPress Website Developer, you will be an essential member of our web development team, responsible for assisting in the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of WordPress websites. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and sharpen your skills in web development, WordPress customization, and content management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Development: Assist in building and customizing WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and HTML/CSS coding.
- Content Management: Upload, edit, and organize website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and compatibility across various browsers and devices.
- Theme Customization: Collaborate with the design team to modify and customize WordPress themes to align with the project's requirements and brand guidelines.
- Plugin Integration: Assist in integrating and configuring plugins to add functionality and enhance website capabilities.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure website functionality, responsiveness, and overall user experience meet the desired standards.
- Website Maintenance: Assist in regular updates, backups, and security measures to keep websites running smoothly.
- SEO Optimization: Implement basic on-page SEO techniques to improve website visibility and rankings.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, WordPress updates, and best practices.

Job Specification
- Educational Background: Pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with PHP and MySQL is a plus.
- WordPress Knowledge: A passion for WordPress and some prior experience working with the platform.
