THIS IS A REMOTE JOB
We are looking for a talented WordPress developer to create attractive and functional websites for our clients. You'll work on both the design and technical aspects of the websites, making sure they look good and work well.
In our day-to-day work, we create both static and ecommerce websites, sometimes from template and sometime from design file, e.g Figma. Most of our clients are from Germany, so it is important for us that you know how to work with a language other than English. You should be comfortable translating instructions to understand them better and then work with them later.
It is a remote job with a fixed working hours (8:00 am - 6:00 pm with 1 hour of break). Time will be tracked with clockify and there would be a status meeting everyday. There could be more meetings if needed during working hours.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and building the websites.
- Making sure the websites are well-organized behind the scenes.
- Creating special designs and features using WordPress.
- Working with plugins (e.g job posts plugin) and customizing them if needed
- Checking that the websites work smoothly and fixing any problems
Job Specification
- No degree requirement
- At least 3 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Experience with tools that help find and fix issues on websites.
- Understanding of how websites should be designed.
- Good project management skills to handle multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills
