Job Description:
As an Accountant at MISL, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies
- Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance
- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Provide support during financial audits and assist with the preparation of audit deliverables
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve any discrepancies

Job Specification
- Proven experience as an Accountant, with at least 20 years of experience in the Oil & Energy industry
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
