We are looking for an experienced Accountant who possesses comprehensive knowledge in payroll and sales tax, as well as personal and corporation tax. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all bookkeeping and related tasks to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and process payroll in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Calculate, prepare, and file sales tax returns in a timely manner.
- Handle personal and corporation tax planning and reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements and perform month-end close procedures.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax laws.
