Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting and a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial processes. Your meticulous approach to financial data and ability to analyze financial information will contribute to the success and stability of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Financial Recording and Reporting:

Record and maintain financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and decision-making.

Reconciliation:

Perform bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements.

Tax Compliance:

Assist in preparing and filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Audit Support:

Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation and information.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Present findings to the finance team and management.

Process Improvement:

Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

ACCA (Qualified or Part Qualified),Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

0 to 2 years of professional experience in accounting or relevant internships.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
