Job Description
Rent, buy, or sell property for clients.
Perform duties, such as study property listings, interview prospective clients, accompany clients to property site, discuss conditions of sale, and draw up real estate contracts.
Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers, generally representing one or the other.

Communication Skills: Talking to others to convey information effectively and Giving full attention to what other people are saying.
Negotiation: Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
Processing: To be an effective processor of information, you must first perfect the basic listening skill. Then you can move on to processing your client’s needs and goals. You also need to be able to process lots of information at one time and on short notice to react.
Problem-Solving:You need to be able to react to problems that arise (and they will) with a confident decision that results in an effective solution. This advanced skill requires timing and judgement to be successful.
Marketing: Marketing is such an advanced skill it could have it’s own post (or thousands of books on the topic), but suffice to say you better have some skills in this area to succeed long term. You will be marketing properties, cities, school districts, and yourself. It will pay you to be good at it..
Leadership: The ability to motivate others and have them committed to your ideas and ideals will inspire people to work toward a common goal. Your clients will thank you for taking them where they want to be.
Team Building: Not a real estate team of agents, but a team of partners who can help you accomplish goals.Relationship skills and networking skills will help you develop a team of trusted partners and this team of resources will be invaluable to you and your clients.
Learning Strategies: Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
