UI/UX Designer

Brand Space is looking for a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities:
• Clearly communicate customer requirements and craft experience solutions that delight our customers while also meeting business objectives & deadlines.
• Participate in user research activities to gather requirements; this includes interviews, ethnographic observation, workflow analyses, and contextual inquiry.
• Communicate customer requirements through storytelling, interactive prototypes, and detailed visual/functional design specifications.
• Craft alternative design proposals to validate with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Work with Development & Product Management partners to negotiate project scope and ensure customer experience is one of the three core considerations in product planning (Viability, Desirability, Feasibility).
• Deliver design documentation for use by a wide range of audiences including Software Development, Test Development, Technical Publications, Sales, and Marketing.

• Review feature implementation, test plans, and documentation to ensure accuracy of desired application results.
• Lead efforts to work collaboratively across teams and orgs to ensure cohesive workflows. • Maintain familiarity with other company products and competitive products to ensure compatibility with proposed feature sets.

• Lead presentations and discussions with customers, developers, and internal stakeholders to drive resolution on proposed features and functionality.
• Look beyond immediate experience challenges to understand how solutions fit into a larger ecosystem, across channels, touchpoints, and platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer or similar role.

• Mastery of Figma is required; proficiency in other design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar is highly desirable.

• Deep understanding of the principles of UX and visual design, as well as standard design tools.

• Demonstrated experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

• Extensive experience in utilizing user-centered design process, as well as conducting user research, A/B testing, usability testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, and accessibility concerns.

• Experience in developing and maintaining design systems.

• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently, with a keen eye for detail.

• A clear and effective communication style, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
