We are looking for an innovative and resourceful engineer who is passionate about creating high-quality, high performance and highly available software, a node.js based backend and javascript expert that will help us develop our product to the next scalability phase for technology, performance and user experience
Job Specification
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on coding.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective definition, design, and implementation.
- Work closely with Developers to insure scalability, availability and security.
- Work closely with Test Engineering to create repeatable functional and performance tests.
- Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches.
- Report progress and status of assigned tasks to project teams and managers
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience with modern full-stack development in Node.js backend applications
- Hands on experience with Node.js or other JavaScript frameworks, MongoDB, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with HTML5/CSS5/JSON/JavaScript (Angular JS)
- Demonstrable experience building complete systems without the need for extensive oversight and the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
- Ability to establish priorities and work independently on multiple tasks Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices, especially Agile/iterative development processes
