Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain database systems, including data modeling, schema design, and indexing.
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing access controls and data encryption.
Monitor database performance and proactively tune for optimization.
Perform database backups, restoration, and disaster recovery planning.
Collaborate with software developers to design and optimize database queries.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Manage and maintain database documentation.
Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices.
Job Specification
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
Proficiency in database management systems such as SQL Server only,
Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Familiarity with backup and recovery processes.
Knowledge of data security and access control.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) preferred.
