Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions and records
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, statements, and budgets
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations
- Handle all tax-related matters, including filing returns and dealing with tax authorities
- Collaborate with other departments and provide financial insights to support decision-making
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets
- Conduct regular audits to identify and address financial discrepancies
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
Job Specification
- Proven experience as an Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in the Consumer Goods industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Professional certification such as ACCA or CMA is preferred.
