Job Description
The Mobile Application Developer will be responsible for:
Mobile application development on Android or iOS platform
Build solutions using the technical requirements for the implementation of the mobile solution
Understands client organization's direction, structure, and requirements
Discussing with the customer technical aspects of the mobile application solution architecture, including the technology used, methodology followed, and devices selected
Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments / feedback
Understands the necessity of project standards and applies them consistently
Analyzes and documents required information and data
Researches mobile development and technology trends
Develops internal and external meeting objectives / agendas and meet project deadlines
Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively
Represent Client technical team in front of prospects / customers towards acquiring new business
Job Specification
Minimum Experience required is 3 years
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (advanced degree a plus)
3 - 4+ years of proven experience developing Android or iOS apps
Good understanding and knowledge of Mobile Application development and experience working with wireless carriers, cable operators, and / or media companies
Extensive knowledge and experience in the following technologies and tools: Java, C#, JavaScript, XML, SDK tools, SQL, Git / SVN
Knowledge and experience of Agile development
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn and grow with the business
Must demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and results orientation
Excellent analytical and problem solving ability
Must possess effective presentation and communication (both verbal and written) skills
Excellent team building and organization skills required
Preference will be given to those who have worked both in Android and iOS
