The ideal candidate should have a strong design portfolio with great examples of web design, design system thinking, and developing web brand identity. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll work closely with the designer, accounts manager, and content writer to create designs that push the brands forward and drive user conversion.

You are a goal-oriented and resourceful web designer and developer with proven experience (2-5 years).

You can work in a fast-paced, lean environment as a team player within any department.

You have the ability to see the big picture, communicate well and seek to create a phenomenal UX and UI.

You enjoy a challenge and are not afraid to take risks. Should be able to function with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

This position is critical to designing and developing new websites for internal and external projects and ensuring that the current website/web pages remain relevant, up-to-date, and aesthetically friendly.

Work closely with the designer to help come up with the best UI/UX approach. Be able to conduct updates and reduce errors, such as missing information, broken links, and non-functioning pages on brand websites.

• Create and maintain a scalable website structure (WP blocks and pages maintenance)
• Create, implement, and maintain the user interface of the web presence for company brands
• Conceptualize and create intuitive, engaging, graphically appealing, and brand-consistent websites and landing pages, as well as relevant banners, artworks for social media pages
• Continually improve and optimize user experience for sites
• Contribute ideas and input that help solve usability challenges, support business goals and deliver an excellent user experience
• Maintain cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility
• Maintain multiple websites and e-commerce
• Maintain and develop existing website built using WordPress
• Create social media ad campaigns, google ads and email newsletters
• Optimize website performance including Core Web Vitals, desktop and mobile speed
• Server configuration, monitoring and email creations
• Manage WordPress plugins; Implement and roll-out A/B tests within WordPress application

Qualifications:

1. 2 to 5+ years of professional web development experience
2. WordPress custom theme/plugin development from scratch
3. Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions
4. Deep expertise and hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, and WordPress
5. Experience with website speed optimization / LCP
6. Strong understanding of wordpress theme customization and plugin development
7. Strong knowledge with Woo commerce and payment gateway integration from APIs
8. Ability to follow specifications, work independently, and have excellent follow-through skills
9. Critical thinker, attention to detail, and outstanding analytical skills
