We are currently looking for an Intern or a Junior IT Officer to join our vibrant office team. A professional approach, genuine work ethic , demonstrated communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, having good computer programming skills integral to this position.
Job Description:
- Troubleshoot all technology issues
- Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
- Provide network access to all staff.
- Install work station
- Connect and set up hardware
- Load all required software
- Provide network accounts and passwords as required
- Monitor security of all technology
- Input and maintain IP addresses
- Advise staff of security breach and/or change in password or security status
- Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate
- Perform other related duties as required during working hours.
Job Specification
- Knowledge of operating servers and Windows Server.
- Knowledge of Computer hardware and software systems and programs
- Knowledge of Computer networks, network administration, network installation, Computer troubleshooting and Computer viruses and security
- Knowledge of E-mail and internet programs ability to install and administer computer hardware software and networks
- Analytic, problem solving and decision making skills
- Effective verbal, written, presentation and listening communications skills
- Computer skills including the ability to operate computerized accounting, spreadsheet, word processing, graphics
- Stress management skills and time management skills
