Job Description
Conduct system exploration; gather information about the system, services and handling of the system/ project.
Collaborate with Project Managers/ Technical resources to understand and document application work flows, requirements and application design Plan and schedule documentation delivery within timeliness established with respect to release schedule.
Share information and get realistic estimates from the team to all the assigned tasks (i.e. related to project/support). Prepare User Guides/Getting Started Guides/Training Guides, training materials, online help and any other documents as required.
Ensure timely delivery of technical user documentation required to support projects and products.
Proof read and edits deliverables from team members to ensure consistency.
Document business processes and write detailed functional requirements for understanding of client.
Document existing & new product development information, manuals for the end-user, system administrators and support staff.
Develop process for maintaining and updating documentation information.
Ensure technical and internal review for quality assurance.
Comprehend changes/ improvements suggested in the reviews by Manager
Take complete responsibility of optimum utilization of assigned resources
Ensure on time submission of time sheets and update status on project server.
Any other duties as assigned by Manager.
Job Specification
- Excellent MS Office Skills
- Understanding of Software Development life-cycle
- Knowledge of Snagit / other image editors
- Familiarity with Rational Rose for creating graphs and flows etc
- Expertise in Adobe Acrobat Professional
