FireCut is looking for a Partnerships Manager contractor who will own the process of finding, contacting and onboarding partners.
The job is fully remote, Full-Time, and on a rolling monthly contract.
What is FireCut?
FireCut is an AI video editor, developed in partnership with Ali Abdaal. It is provided to customers as a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro.
What are partners?
FireCut partners are creators/influencers who make content in the video editing space. They will typically have an audience on a video platform such as YouTube or Instagram, but some partners might also primarily have an email list-based audience. Partners promote FireCut to their audience, in exchange for a commission made on referred sales.
What will I do in this role?
Key responsibilities of this role include
- Finding potential partners β you will find new potential partners for FireCut, and prioritise them based on metrics such as audience size, geography, viewership, etc.
- Contacting partners β you will be the point-of-contact for partners, and will fully own the process of reaching out to potential and existing partners, in order to pitch FireCut, answer any questions, negotiate contracts, etc.
- Onboarding partners β you will own the process of onboarding new partners to FireCut, including giving them all the information and assets they need to make content about FireCut.
- Tracking progress β you will ensure we have clear tracking of our progress with each partner. This will involve (but is not limited to) maintaining a βtrackerβ, which is a Google Sheet which contains this information.
- Paying partners β you will support the process of paying partners on a monthly basis.
- Partnerships process improvement β you will play a crucial role in improving our partnerships process, including suggesting improvements to any of the responsibilities above.
What skills do I need to excel in this role?
The right candidate for this role will:
- Be strong in English communication. This is a strict requirement of the role, as the job involves writing emails.
- Be comfortable working with spreadsheets (Google Sheets in particular), including data analysis skills.
- Have a professional work ethic.
What else do I need to know about the job?
- The job is remote, with working hours as Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm GMT.
- The contract will be month-to-month, and there will be a 1 week trial period at the start to ensure you can handle the work.
What can I expect to earn?
Compensation will be tied to performance and will range from PKR 100,000β125,000 depending on quality of work and key requirements of the role being met.
