As the UNIX/Linux Administrator (UNIX Systems Administrator), you will help Inter Technologies, Karachi office expand their Information Technology team. You will take part in a pivotal and exciting position within a growing company.
This role provides leadership, guidance, and hands-on experience for the implementation and operation of enterprise UNIX and Linux solutions accessed by our employees, partners, and customers across the world. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Inter Technologies

Job Specification
- Minimum 2 years experience as administrator on UNIX/Linux Operating Systems, preferably *BSD. Must understand account management, scheduled tasks, service management, process automation.
- Experience configuring network connectivity, basic understanding of network protocols including DNS and default gateways, and experience collecting information for troubleshooting network issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General understanding and ability to configure/maintain the following: runlevel, crontab, RAID, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, ZFS, PF, IPFW
- Must understand shell scripts, their purpose, use, and selection
