Job Description
The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating and ensuring smooth, on-time delivery and accuracy of content in the marketing emails by maintaining a correct and up-to-date schedule of the stages of production.
Create and/or maintain email marketing contents and artifacts, such as seed lists, target data sources, visual archive of email templates, promotion discounts, landing pages, art files, and procedural manual ·
Coordinate day-to-day email execution, which includes but not limited to maintaining email production schedule, technical troubleshooting, formatting templates, making edits from proofing process and deployment process control·
Monitor and support email deliverability by advising Marketers on email marketing best practices (e.g. content issues, CAN-SPAM, technical specifications), running diagnostics in email application, and collaborate with IT and data management team on system configuration issues·
Facilitate communication among program attorneys, publishing, R&D, marketing managers, proofreader, and art director to ensure marketing emails go out as scheduled·
Coordinate PLI Smartbrief submissions between Marketing Director and vendor; Track records of Free Friday promotions ·
Job Specification
2-4 years of relevant marketing experience ·
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing·
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite·
Excellent knowledge of and experience with HTML/CSS·
Must maintain strict daily deadlines and have the ability to multitask and be detail-oriented·
Proofreading/editing experience is required along with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment as well as independently·
Must have the ability to solve problems independently.
