Job Description
The ideal candidate team will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of web and mobile applications for Android and iOS. Make sure you’re able to think on your feet because this company is constantly growing and ideas turn into launches with the support of the entire team.
Duties
The Mobile App Developer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and expanding software systems over multiple platforms that can handle intense traffic spikes. This position demands a high degree of knowledge, adaptability and accuracy in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.

The Mobile App Developer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and expanding software systems over multiple platforms that can handle intense traffic spikes. This position demands a high degree of knowledge, adaptability and accuracy in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
The Mobile App Developer duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Design and develop native mobile apps to run on iPhone, iPad, Android handsets and tablets.
- Develop and track software development using AGILE/SCRUM methodology as part of a small app development team
- Provide technical expertise within project teams and work closely with various teams including the marketing department, photographers and graphic designers, and UX/UI associates to refine, solidify and adequately document requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems that arise both in quality assurance phases and post-launch scenarios, and ensure ongoing operation of the apps on new versions of mobile operating systems as they are launched.
Job Specification
- 4+ years in mobile application development (iOs and Andorid)
- Published examples of mobile applications on the App store or the Android market
- 4 years experience in iOS - Strong OO design and programming skills
- 4 years experience in or familiar with iOS SDK
- 4 years experience in in Android - Strong OO design and programming skills in Java J2EE/J2ME
- At least 4 years experience in or familiar with Android SDK
- Strong knowledge of Objective-C and familiarity with Swift programming languages and XCode IDE.
- Experienced building apps compatible with recent iOS versions.
- Thorough understanding of mobile UI patterns for iOS.
- Knowledge of using REST-based web services.
