Job Description
Heads, operationally and strategically, the finance and accounts department of the organization
Develops financial forecasting and costing models which serve as the basis for financial planning & budgeting and evaluates the financial & tax impact of the company's business plan.
Supervises the preparation of master budget including Budgeted Profit & Loss Statement, Budgeted Balance Sheet and Budgeted Cash Flow Statement.
Monitors the actual performance of the company versus the budgeted performance, does the variance analysis and reports to CEO on a regular basis. Evaluates various opportunities for expansion and diversification available to the company so as to ensure that are in line with the corporate objectives and add value to the company.
Assists CEO in the managing the working capital effectively by providing analysis with respect to investment in inventories, terms of payments to vendors etc.
Assesses the risks involved in various transaction cycles, evaluates the adequacy of existing controls and to suggest and to implement the proper controls to address those risks.
Job Specification
Preferably CA or ACMA. Additional Qualification could be CIA, ACCA, CIMA would be preferred
Knowledge Level:
Finance, Accounts, Treasury, Tax, Audit;
Overall Business Understanding:
People Skills, Activation Experience, and Project Management.
Skills / Competencies:
Negotiations, Research, Analytical, Human Behaviors, Participative Decision Making, Time Management, Prioritizing; Assertiveness, Communication, Interpersonal, Persuasion, Negotiation, Proficiency in Ms Excel, Exposure to ERP.
5-8 years post qualification experience, with min 3 years of experience of similar job role in any reputable Food-FMCG / Manufacturing based business.
