Travel Officer

• Analyze employee travel and expense cost trends and drivers; prepares management reports and recommends solutions to provide excellent service at cost competitive prices
• Design, implement, and administer the company’s travel, credit card and expense programs and ensure that the company is in compliance with all global related laws and regulations
• Identifies areas of non-compliance with company policies and communicates with appropriate parties in a timely manner
• Oversee administrative processes and determine ways for improvement
• Manage and negotiate with brokers and third party solution providers, as well as, certain vendors to take advantage of volume discount programs
• Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for travel and expense policies, as well as maintaining relevant communication internally
• Processes expense reports and related duties
• Work with Human Resources regarding needed emergency travel resources
• Coordinate travel insurance programs with travel services
• Continuously improve processes and programs for ease of employee, gathering business intelligence, creating efficiencies and reducing costs
• Understand the complexity of business on a global scale. Embrace cultural and individual differences with empathy. Work with the nuances of specific local cultures to make informed decisions
