Job Description
1. Systems Support Experience in;
* Windows Servers 2000/2003 Active Directory.
* DHCP, DNS & Antivirus solutions.
* ISA Server 2000/2004 configuration and management, WinRoute Firewall management.
* File Server and Print Server Configuration.
2. User and System Support/Troubleshooting experience in
* Windows XP/2000 Professional/Server.
* Linux (Red Hat, SuSE Linux)
* SQL Server and MySQL server
* Email Clients and other applications
3. Strong understanding of
* TCP/IP, subnets, routing
* Security, firewalls, Antivirus and Anti spy wares implementation
* Mail Servers (MS Exchange Server 2000/2003/2007)
* Network Tools / Sniffers
* MS SQL Server administration, backup/recovery
* Source Safe Server (visual Source safe, SVN etc.)
* Web servers (IIS).
* Share Point Portal Server
4. Hardware troubleshooting including
* General hardware failure,
* System / Network Failure,
* Hard disk problems, processor & motherboard problem diagnostic etc
5. Knowledge/Experience in any of the following will be a plus
* Linux (Red HAT / SuSE Linux) Installation and servers configuration
* IPSec and VPN
* Windows/Linux shell Scripting
* Wireless LAN
* Tomcat, Apache, Weblogic will be a plus
Job Specification
1. Should be able to work independently. Also capable of working in pressure situation.
2. Good verbal and written English communication skills is a must.
