Job Description
Your duties may include, but will not be limited to, the following: You will be required to transcribe and verify medication orders, and compound and dispense medications, as per physicians’ prescriptions or orders. You will review and interpret physician orders. You will be required to prepare intravenous admixtures, with careful consideration of the compatibility of the additives and main solution. You will be required to maintain control and security of all medications, maintain pharmacy records, and ensure adequate stock replenishment when assigned. You will be required to undertake regular inspection of nursing units, emergency trays and crash carts, ensuring drug preparation and dispensation areas are devoid of all outdated or unusable drugs
Job Specification
Minimum 2 years of experience
Able to work with team members
Good communication skills
Good patient counselling skills
