Job Description
We are looking for a developer who has experience with Magento and PHP to architect, design, develop, and improve our ecommerce solutions.
Design, develop and implement changes and enhancements on Magento platform
Translate functional requirements from business users into sound technical designs that meet business objectives
Provide subject matter expertise for use of the Magento platform
Able to write W3C Standards Compliant, Cross-Browser Compatible (IE7+, Firefox, Safari) Markup in XHTML/CSS/AJAX
Ability to write and performance optimize SQL queries for MySQL
Experience with JavaScript; jQuery a plus
Job Specification
2-3 years experience with Magento
Solid understanding of PHP best practices
Experience building custom Magento extensions
Experience with custom theming of Magento stores
Solid understanding of the Web UI layer: HTML, CSS, JS
Experience integrating Magento with other third-party systems (ERP, WHM, Logistics, APIs)
Understanding of Linux server environments
Knowledge of Git and version control practices
A passion for delivering solid, secure, stable, and performant solutions
