Accounts Associate

SmartaSystems is a business process outsourcing (BPO) company with its offshore operations in Lahore. We are currently seeking highly motivated and detail oriented professionals to work as Accounts Associate in our business support services division.

Job Description:
The job description includes the following but is not limited to:

• Updating transactions in different accounting softwares
• Data entry to/from excel to various softwares
• Downloading accounting data from different websites
• Doing reconciliations
• Responding to client enquiries
• Web research, browsing multiple sites and extracting the required data
• Applying different quality checks on the collected data.

• B.Com, ACCA (finalists) or others with 4-year college degree in Accounting (Candidates having O/A-levels background would be preferred).
• Proficient in using search engines and data-mining.
• Working knowledge of MS Office especially Ms Excel is required.
• Experience with accounting softwares.(Candidates with relevant prior experience with Quickbooks, Xero or Netsuite would be preferred).
• Excellent Internet research skills.
• Ability to work independently, without supervision
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English is a must.
• Good typing speed.

Prior accounting experience not required; however, preference will be given to applicants with relevant prior experience with Quickbooks, Xero or Netsuite.

NOTE: It is an office based morning shift (10:00AM to 6:00PM) position in which associates would work 06 days a week. So it is mandatory that applicants must have completed their education.
