Develop custom solutions based on business & technical requirements
Create views, reports and dashboards to support Project and Portfolio Management
Make configuration changes to address new requirements (e.g., create project detail pages, develop reports, configure workflows, custom development, create custom web parts, create changes to templates, customize project team sites, etc.
Administer the Project Server environment, managing permissions, change/update users, account maintenance
Provide end user training and support, and develop training materials
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical platform issues.
Deploy packages to web server(s).
Develop Microsoft Project Server integration capability to other applications (e.g., TFS, Salesforce, Dynamics etc.)
Perform configuration and database clean-up activities
Implement system upgrades as required.
Develop and maintain required documentation (SOPs, Data dictionary, Issue log, records etc.)
Job Specification
Required Skills:
Expert and experienced in Microsoft Project Server 2010 or higher (2013 preferable)
Experience in handling and fixing Project Server related support issues; able to technically explore root cause & troubleshoot using logs
Familiarity with 3rd Party tools / add-ons to Project Server
Good knowledge of Microsoft Project Professional 2013 or higher
Good knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 or higher (2013 preferable) and its workflows
Good command over MS SQL 2008 R2 or higher
Able to develop reports using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
Handling & troubleshooting Windows Server environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics will be a plus
Able to understand and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specs
