Job Description
Project Manager will responsible for all stages and types of IT initiatives for the business from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation.
A major part of this position is to provide a proactive interface between the internal customers and the technical/programming staff to ensure effective definition of and delivery of business applications.
Responsibilities Include:
Design, development and delivery of effective business applications.
- Unravel, define and document complex business requirements and processes evaluate options and implement solutions.
-Lead design sessions and review sessions with technical and business staffs, including all levels of management.
- Work with marketing and sales team
- Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
- Manage multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques.
- Manage application design through the various lifecycle stages from business need through design and delivery.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships
- Assist in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures
- Assign, monitor and review the tasks of systems analysts, engineers, and other computer-related workers.
- Provide supervision and guidance to all assigned staff.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
Job Specification
Skill and Expertise
- Strong business analyst, application design, and project management skills are essential.
- Candidate should have at least 6 years of work experience of which 4years of Project Management experience is a must.
- The candidate must be technically sound in ASP.Net /VB.net/SQL server 2000/2005, and C# would be added advantage.
- Experience and proven track record of developing complex Web Applications and knowledge of insurance industry.
- Candidate must be flexible, have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Candidate should have experience in handling foreign clients and must have excellent English writing and speaking skills.
- Candidate must be able to develop and manage project scope, deliverables, milestones, and critical resource planning activities.
- Manage concurrent projects and their interdependencies
- Estimate, prioritize and schedule own tasks.
- He/She should be able to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Candidate must have expertise in coordinating, training, supervising, or managing the activities of others to accomplish goals. Very advanced communication and organizational skills are required.
- Motivated, Enthusiastic and Detail Oriented individuals will be preferred.
- Must have knowledge of ISO and should be aware of all kinds of document management.
