2D animators create characters, storyboards, and backgrounds for animation in a two-dimensional space. 2D animators may have titles such as animator, character designer, or storyboard artist.

Job duties of 2D animators revolve around designing and producing images; they include:

Producing special effects and action graphics

Creating frames and characters

Inking

Coloring

Editing and animation reel demonstrating skills.

Excellent technical skills and a command of all aspects of video production including but not limited to green screen, color grading, compositing, compression, retouching, format conversion, design and production.

Expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects; Adobe Premiere; Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.

Ability to work onsite in our Culver City office.
