We require a Business Development Manager to:
Lead the business development on upwork.com or Guru.com.
Take responsibility for ensuring growth in revenue and profitability for the business through the acquisition of new clients and the increased opportunity within existing clients.
Work across the MicroArts team drawing on the expertise of the graphic designers to support business development activity and will take responsibility for the entire sales process including:
Researching and following-up leads
Developing multi-level relationships with prospects
Understanding the needs of the prospects and clients
Making presentations and managing the client relationship through implementation.
Play a part in refining solutions for clients and in uncovering new markets for the business.
Must have experience in IT industry. Must have expertise in online marketing techniques and mediums.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record in business development with complex and high value opportunities. You will be articulating designing concepts and information in a manner that will provide best services to our clients. Your online marketing/sales expertise or freelancing network experience (in Outsourcing Networks like Elance, Guru, Odesk etc) or business development experience in a similar industry or technology based industry would be advantageous.
As you can appreciate the sales cycle and to produce the successful outcomes needed, you will be tenacious, patient and have an excellent understanding of how to leverage client relationships throughout the sales cycle to increase conversion rates.
