Maintenance of local public company in accordance with local laws and best practice, including administering statutory changes including Directors, CFO, Registered Office, Memorandum and Articles of Association, arranging changes of company name and registering new business names. -Undertake transactional work for convening board meetings, preparing minutes and filing relevant statutory documents with local authorities -Liaise with Head of Legal Affairs and Group Corporate Centre on Group compliance matters. -Assist the Group Corporate Centre with the maintenance and renewal of Intellectual Property in the region - Assist in the end of month procedures - Authorise all payments and sign cheques, make payments etc - Ensure that funds are available to meet expenses - Produce the monthly management reports for the Board of Trustees and Management Committee - Maintain robust financial procedures - Prepare the annual budget and monitor expenditure against the budget - Advise the Director-General, Education Director and Science Director on financial matters - Oversee the collection of outstanding debts and ensure payments are made in good time - Oversee the sending of monthly statements to debtors - Liaise on financial matters with member companies - Liaise with the Foundation's Auditors, Bank, Payroll managers and Investment managers as required - Submit to Inland Revenue the statutory returns - Worked as a Manager Finance of the organization. - Manage any local statutory filings and ensure local companies remain in line with local laws and best practice. - Contribute to the management of good and effective working relationships internally and externally, through courteous and efficient communications and interactions. - Plan and manage own workload to maximise efficiency, reflect priorities/deadlines and accommodate changing requirements.
Professionally qualified (Qualified Chartered Accountant) -At least 3 years relevant work experience -An awareness of Group organisation together with a grasp of business issues both internally and externally
